"STD Pathasala" also known as "SriSadagopan ThiruNarayanaSwami DivyaPrabandha Pathasala" is a not-for-profit organization working towards the promotion of the divine compositions of the Azhvar Saints through music and fine arts. The organization is more than 25 years old and is located in the village called Jalladianpet (Pallikaranai), in the outskirts of Chennai city. The organization is associated with "ThiruNarayana Swami" temple, located in the same place. The temple was constructed by Araiyar Swami SriRama Bharathi in close semblance with the ThiruNarayanan temple in Melkote, Karnataka. The name of the presiding deity is "Thiru Narayanan" and the deity resembles the Lord of Melkote. [It is a well-known fact in Sri Vaishnava tradition that Sri Ramanujar lived in Melkote, Karnataka for a significant number of years and served the Lord ThiruNarayanan. Filled with blissful experience, Sri Ramanuja had urged every Sri Vaishnavite to stay atleast for a few days in Melkote and chant the divine compositions of Azhvars.] The singular goal of STD Pathasala is to promote the divine works of the Azhvars through music and fine arts, traditionally called as "Araiyar Sevai". To make the divine compositions easily accessible to the devotees of the Lord, the Araiyar Swami has set the compositions under different Carnatic music ragas, and had rendered lot of them in his own unique style which is full of Bhakthi. Anyone who hears the renditions of the Araiyar Swami will immediately realise that the Araiyar Swami had the divine grace of the Azhvars and Acharyas. The Araiyar had taken upon himself the task of re-discovering the "Araiyar Sevai" tradition and had demonstrated the art form through both music and dance. Till date, STD Pathasala is conducting free classes for interested students, keeping alive the spirit of Nadhamunigal (circa 9th century A.D), the preceptor of Araiyar Sevai tradition. “ஸ்ரீ சடகோபன் திருநாராயண ஸ்வாமி திவ்ய பிரபந்த பாடசாலை” சென்னை பள்ளிக்கரணை ஜல்லடம்பேட்டையில் உள்ளது.ஜல்லடம்பேட்டை திருநாரணன் கோவிலைச் சேர்ந்த இந்தப் பாடசாலை ஆழ்வார்களின் நாலாயிர திவ்ய பிரபந்த பாசுரங்களை இறைவனின் அடியார்கள் அனைவரும் அனுபவிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற நோக்குடன் சுமார் கடந்த இருபது ஆண்டுகளாகப் பணியாற்றி வருகிறது. அன்பர்கள் அனைவரும் பாசுரங்களை இசை வடிவில் அனுபவிக்க அரையர் சுவாமி திரு.ஸ்ரீ ராமபாரதி அவர்கள் கர்நாடக சங்கீத முறையில் ராகம் அமைத்துப் பாடியுள்ளார். ஆழ்வார்கள், ஆச்சார்யர்கள் அருளினை பரிபூரணமாக பெற்ற இவர், தன் குருநாதர் வீ.வீ. சடகோபன் அவர்களின் திருவுள்ளப்படி நாலாயிர திவ்ய பிரபந்த பாசுரங்களை, ஆழ்வார்களின் பக்தி உள்ளத்தின் உணர்ச்சி பாவனைகளுடன் ஆடியும் குழித் தாளத்துடன் இசைக் கூட்டி பாடியும் “அரையர் சேவை”யாக இறைவனுக்கு அர்ப்பணம் செய்துள்ளார். துணைவியாருடன் சேர்ந்து தன் வாழ்நாள் தொண்டாக இந்த உயர்ந்த காரியத்தை செய்து பகவத் ராமானுஜரின் திருவுள்ளப்படி அடியார்கள் அனைவருக்கும் நல்வழி காட்டியுள்ளார். அடியார்கள் அனைவரும் கூடியிருந்து இன்புற இன்றும் பாடசாலையில் இலவசமாக பயிற்சி வகுப்புகள் நடைபெறுகின்றன. ஆழ்வார் திருவடிகளே சரணம் ! ஆசார்யர் திருவடிகளே சரணம் !
